Respect Starts Here

The NZDF is at its best when teams trust, support, and look out for each other. When people feel safe, valued, and respected, they perform at their best.

The Impact of Harmful Behaviours

Bullying, harassment, and discrimination weaken trust, morale, and effectiveness, not just in the workplace, but across NZDF. Tū Māia (Integrity) means taking responsibility for creating an environment where everyone can contribute with confidence.

Respect = Stronger Teams

Op RESPECT exists to eliminate harmful behaviours and build a culture of trust, professionalism, and inclusion. Tū Tika (Commitment) means leading by example, every action, decision, and policy should strengthen team safety and cohesion.

Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi, engari he toa takitini - Strength is not in one, but in many.
